All Nursing Assistant testing is managed by the Utah Nursing Assistant Registry (UNAR).
You must have a UNAR-issued username and password to test. If you do not have one, please contact UNAR before attempting to schedule.
Monday – Thursday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Your UNAR login credentials and a valid picture ID.
The state exam consists of 75 questions, and students are allowed up to two hours to test. All tests are on the computer.
All requests for accommodations must be requested from, and approved by UNAR.
The skills exam is by appointment only.
The skills exam consists of beginning/ending procedures, hand washing, vital signs, and five random skills from the UNAR Candidate Handbook.
