Complete training hours in an outpatient clinical facility to fine-tune the skills learned in the classroom.

Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient's medical needs are met.
Provide essential support in healthcare settings, handling both administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee the daily operations of a medical clinic, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims for payment.
Licensed medical professional who provides a broad range of healthcare services under the supervision of a physician.
Medical professional who diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries, while also promoting overall health and wellness.
Medical assistants are multi-skilled, allied healthcare professionals responsible for various clinical and/or administrative duties and are an essential part of a healthcare team. The Medical Assistant program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions that will allow them to learn and move into higher level job opportunities by working with physicians and providers in office settings. Students in the program learn cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains by focusing on administrative and back-office clinical skills. Upon successful completion of all required courses, students participate in an externship in a medical office.
Graduates of the Medical Assisting program are eligible to take a national certification exam.
Classroom Hours
This is a hybrid program. Complete coursework online and come to the classroom for labs and hands-on skills.
Day: M-F 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Eve: M-Th 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

For the past 10 years, Lori has served as a manager of a busy multispecialty practice, where she has led teams, streamlined operations, and fostered a culture of excellence and compassion.
In her current role as a Medical Assistant Coordinator and Instructor, Lori is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Her hands-on experience and commitment to education make her a trusted guide for students entering the medical field.
Outside of her professional life, Lori enjoys baking, crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. Her creativity and warmth are evident both in her personal interests and in the care she brings to her work.
