Leave of Absense

What is a Leave of Absence? 

If you need to stop your program at OTECH, you can take a leave of absence (LOA). This means you can miss classes without completely withdrawing from OTECH. 

 

About a Leave of Absence:

  • Students are provided three one-week LOAs per fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
  • LOAs start on Monday and end on Friday.
  • Students are not charged tuition during an LOA.
  • Most programs allow an LOA.

    to understand your rights to pregnancy-related accommodations and protections before submitting this form.
