Title IX Accommodations for Pregnant and Postpartum Students

Students who are pregnant, have given birth, or have had a pregnancy loss may qualify for medical accommodations under Title IX. These accommodations cover pregnancy‑related medical needs, not general parenting time.

Examples include:

• Adjustments to coursework or deadlines
• Keeps your academic progress and funding safe during pregnancy‑related absences

To ensure these accommodations are provided, students may be required to submit documentation and must coordinate directly with the Title IX Coordinator.
